Arthrosis and its surgical treatment in balneotherapy from the perspective of a physiotherapist

The Institute of Balneology and Spa Medicine cordially invites you to a professional seminar, which will take place at Spa Resort PAWLIK – AQUAFORUM **** Gentlemans Club, 5. května 106/9, Františkovy Lázně on March 26, 2026, starting at 4:00 p.m.

Lecturer: Rita Firýtová, MA

The lecture presents physiotherapy methods used in spa treatment for osteoarthritis of weight-bearing joints (indication group VII/7) and after total replacement of weight-bearing joints (indication group VII/10). It focuses on the appropriate use of natural resources and the application of physiotherapy methods according to the patient's clinical picture.

• 5:35 p.m. – Expert discussion

The educational event is organized in accordance with the Czech Medical Chamber Regulation No. 16. The professional guarantor is Prim. MUDr. Ladislav Špišák, CSc., Institute of Balneology and Spa Medicine. The educational event is worth 2 credits and participation is free of charge.
