At the end of April, a pilot test of our virtual and augmented reality applications was successfully conducted at the Pawlik spa resort in collaboration with Františkovy Lázně AQUAFORUM a.s. This time, we focused on clients for whom VR provides relief for specific medical conditions.

The biggest benefit? The virtual world’s ability to naturally distract clients from pain or physical limitations, allowing them to exercise with greater ease.

We are already incorporating all the insights we have gained into further adjustments to ensure that the rehabilitation exercises are as comfortable as possible for patients and deliver the best possible results.

If you are interested in similar testing at your facility, please contact us at petrzelkova@i-lab.cz. We would be happy to discuss opportunities for collaboration!

The testing was conducted as part of the project “Validation of a System for Monitoring the Lower Limbs in Virtual Reality and Possibilities for Its Commercial Use in Healthcare.” Project CZ.01.01.01/08/23_036/0005335, implemented in cooperation with XR Institute s.r.o., is funded by the Operational Program Technology and Applications for Competitiveness (OP TAK).
