Guided walk: History of the springs in Mariánské Lázně
We invite you to the first guided walk of this year, which we have prepared in Mariánské Lázně. David Landa, hydrogeologist, will guide you through the town. The route will lead from the Singing Fountain to Rudolf's Spring and will focus on the history of the springs and the buildings around them.

Why do the springs spring up in the places where we know them today? How does the water get to the drinking fountains? And how did it influence the shape of spa architecture?
We invite you to the first guided walk of this year, which we have prepared in Mariánské Lázně. David Landa, hydrogeologist, will guide you through the town. The route will lead from the Singing Fountain to Rudolf's Spring and will focus on the history of the springs and the buildings around them.
Participants and attendees will learn:
- how mineral water was collected and used in the past
- how the surroundings of the springs and spa buildings have changed
- how the town has developed in relation to natural healing resources
