We are looking for an experienced financial manager to take charge of the financial management of grant projects funded by national and European sources.

Our institution carries out research and development activities funded by both EU and national programs. We are looking for a reliable and independent partner for our project teams and management who is well-versed in project financial planning, controlling, budgeting, eligibility of expenditures, and project cash flow management, and who can establish and refine financial processes across our project portfolio.

You will become a key support for project managers and leadership, and you will have a direct impact on the smooth implementation of the institution’s grant projects.

Job description

  • Financial Management of Grant Projects Funded by the EU and National Programs
  • Preparing, reviewing, and updating project budgets
  • Ongoing monitoring of budget utilization, project cash flows, and the eligibility of expenditures; Collaboration with an external accounting firm on project accounting
  • Preparation of economic and accounting data for monitoring and final reports
  • Close collaboration with project managers and research teams

What we require

  • A college degree in economics,
  • work experience in finance (at least 3 years),
  • Experience managing grant projects is a plus,
  • Experience with financing public institutions is a plus,
  • excellent knowledge of MS Excel,
  • independence, attention to detail, a systematic approach, and the ability to set priorities,
  • analytical thinking and a responsible approach,
  • a desire to continue developing professionally.
