The Institute of Spa and Balneology, v.v.i., is expanding its team and invites applications for the position of Senior Researcher in the field of socio-economic sciences within the strategic project Spa Research Centre.
Job description
- Independent management of a scientific team (up to 5 persons), management of research activities in the field of socio-economic sciences,
- Responsibility for the proper implementation of project activities in the socio-economic part of the project, meeting project objectives, milestones and monitoring indicators in accordance with the project methodological documentation and project schedule,
- Management of the resources (financial, information, material and technical) entrusted to the authority,
- Cooperation with the project, finance, HR and administration departments,
- Active communication and collaboration with all stakeholders in the projects - the research teams, managers and researchers of the partner institutions involved, the funder, the founder,
- Monitoring development trends, searching for new scientific research opportunities, submitting proposals for innovations in the field of scientific research.

What we require
- University degree (min. master's degree) in economics or sociology,
- Experience of leading a small team or research/development projects,
- Knowledge of Czech language at the level of a native speaker and knowledge of English at the level of min. B1,
- Proactive approach, independence in solving tasks, responsibility, diligence,
- Mental toughness and readiness for high workload,
- Very good communication skills - ability to communicate across organizations, scientific teams, constructive problem solving skills, teamwork, presentation skills.
