The Institute of Spa Medicine and Balneology is seeking a researcher (in the field of medical, environmental, or socioeconomic sciences).

Job description

  • Planning and conducting scientific experiments and research activities.
  • Analysis and interpretation of research data, processing of results, and their presentation.
  • Preparation of scientific articles and publications for academic journals.
  • Presentation of results at national and international conferences.
  • Identifying new scientific opportunities and proposing innovations in research activities.
  • Development and implementation of new research methods.
  • Active participation in professional seminars and workshops.
  • Assistance with the preparation and submission of grant applications.
  • Preparation of scientific articles and publications for academic journals.
  • Collaborating with other team members and internal and external partners to achieve project goals.

What we require

  • A completed university degree (minimum Master’s or Bachelor’s) in the field of:
    • medical or health sciences (e.g., general medicine, public health, physical therapy, rehabilitation, balneology and spa medicine, physiology, epidemiology, preventive medicine, biomedical fields, or related disciplines),
    • environmental sciences (e.g., ecology, environmental studies, environmental protection, geography, hydrogeology, geology, climatology, landscape engineering, natural resources, sustainable development, or related fields),
    • or the social sciences and economics (e.g., economics, sociology, anthropology, psychology, public policy, public health, regional development, social geography, management, tourism, or related fields),
  • Experience in publishing scientific articles and presenting research findings is a plus.
  • Criminal record.
  • PC skills.
  • Knowledge of the English language.
