In the July issue of the Komora magazine (July-August 2025, Volume 26) there was an article Spa care - a tool for comprehensive disease prevention, prepared by the director of our institute Ing. Alina Huseynli, MBA, and the Chairman of the ILaB Council MUDr. Ladislav Špišák, CSc.

In the text, we discuss the growing role of prevention in public health and personnel policy. In our view, spa care is an effective tool for promoting the health of employed people - i.e. part of workplace health promotion. In the article, we also mention the results of our research, for example, a study on the effects of the Carlsbad drinking cure for hepatic steatosis or research on the impact of short-term spa stays on the mental health of clients.

We believe that the Czech spa industry can play a key role in a sustainable healthcare system - as a natural part of effective prevention. The article can be found in the Health & Companies 2025 special issue of Komora magazine, whose cover theme is People in the lead.
