Spa industry on a scientific basis: we signed a memorandum of cooperation with the AHR of the Czech Republic

We signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Association of Hotels and Restaurants of the Czech Republic. Together we want to support professional development in the field of spa, medical wellness and health tourism and strengthen the connection between research and application.

The Memorandum was created within the framework of our project Centre for Spa Research (CLV), which we are implementing with the support of the Operational Programme Just Transformation. The cooperation includes training of AHR CR member organisations, sharing of research knowledge, development of methodologies and preparation of joint projects. An important part of this is the implementation of research results into the everyday practice of spa and accommodation facilities.

The signing of the Memorandum was also attended by the Mayor of Karlovy Vary and the Councillor of the Karlovy Vary Region for Spa, Tourism and UNESCO Ing. Andrea Pfeffer Ferklová, MBA.
