At the beginning of December, we started testing VR Medical 's virtual reality at the Jáchymov Spa! Patients with the following indications are being monitored in the study:
- VII/1 Rheumatoid arthritis stages I to IV,
- VII/2 Bechterew's disease,
- VII/7 Coxarthrosis, gonarthrosis.
Statistical evaluation of the results from VR testing at Spa Resort Pawlik - Aquaforum and ROYAL SPA is currently underway.
However, we already know that virtual reality training has been shown to reduce spastic pain and improve patients' mental state. Simple exercises help physiotherapists revitalise rehabilitation, intensify movement, and motivate patients to exercise.
