We successfully presented the progress to date of the strategic project Spa Research Center (CLV), funded by the Just Transition Operational Program, at a meeting with representatives of the Karlovy Vary Region, the Ministry of the Environment, and the State Environmental Fund. The evaluation confirms that the project is meeting its key objectives and developing according to the planned schedule.

The ongoing evaluation highlights positive results: the project is running according to schedule and without any major risks or delays. The first research outputs are emerging, which will further develop expert knowledge in the field of balneology. A modern research infrastructure is being built to serve research into natural healing resources.  The transformative significance of the project for the Karlovy Vary Region, where the scientific background of balneology plays a key role, is being confirmed.

"The mid-term meeting confirmed that the CLV Project is progressing according to schedule and meeting its objectives. The results presented show its significant contribution to the transformation of the Karlovy Vary Region and the development of scientific research in the field of spa treatment. Support from the Operational
Programme Fair Transformation is an important confirmation for us that the project is heading in the right direction," said Petra Boudová, head of the CLV Project.
