In the past week, we carried out field measurements in Karlovy Vary and Kynžvart Spa, which are part of the activities of the Spa Research Centre project. The research team collected data in the real environment of the spa sites as a basis for the creation of the Methodology for the definition and protection of therapeutic spa landscapes.

We focused on measuring the level of radiation, noise, the amount of negatively charged ions in the air, the intensity of illumination and the concentration of volatile organic compounds. These data will help us to better understand the characteristics of the spa environment and contribute to the professional development of the design methodology.
