On 30 September 2025, we held a workshop in our premises focused on the use of virtual and augmented reality in lower limb rehabilitation. The meeting was intended primarily for professional medical staff of spa facilities, whose experience and suggestions contributed significantly to the further development of applications.

The workshop was held as part of the project Validation of the lower limb tracking system in virtual and augmented reality and its commercial use in healthcare, which we are implementing in collaboration with the XR Institute. The project is funded by the Operational Programme on Technologies and Applications for Competitiveness (OPTAC).

In the next phase of the project we will test the developed technology directly in the operation of spa facilities. This will open up space for their active involvement in the development and validation of VR-based rehabilitation tools.
