Guided walk through the town of Františkovy Lázně: in the footsteps of the healing tradition
We invite you to a guided walk through Františkovy Lázně on Sunday 24 August 2025 from 15:00. The walk will be led by Magdalena Vereskova, a medical/health sciences supervisor and physiotherapist with experience in local spa treatment. The route will introduce the architecture of the town, natural healing resources and the specifics of treatment, not only for female infertility, which is strongly linked to this place.

How does Františkovy Lázně heal body and soul in the age of modern medicine? What healing power is hidden behind the closed doors of the spa houses and how does the architecture and greenery of the town relate to it?
We invite you to a guided walk through Františkovy Lázně, led by the medical/health sciences supervisor and physiotherapist with experience in local spa treatment Magdaléna Vereskova. The route will introduce the town's architecture, natural healing resources and the specifics of treatment, not only for female infertility, which is strongly linked to this place.
Participants and attendees will learn:
- How Františkovy Lázně became a spa town and to whom it owes it.
- How local natural medicinal resources are used.
- What indications are treated here.
- How the statue of Francis became a symbol of the city.
