The "Discover the World Heritage" event will take place from Friday 12 April to Monday 15 April as part of the celebration of the International Day of Monuments and Historic Sites. This global event celebrates the richness of cultural heritage and provides the public with a unique opportunity to discover the beauty and history of Karlovy Vary.
During the event, you can experience the exhibition Famous Visitors of Karlovy Vary, guided tours of the city by Viktor Braunreiter's Street Theatre, a fashion show by talented students of the Secondary School of Arts and Industry called Spa Kaleidoscope, taste the (un)traditional spa menu and many other interesting activities.
Join us at 𝗻𝗼𝗿ᵟ𝗶𝗰 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 in a therapeutic spa landscape, Take a tour of the roof of the Mill Colonnade and the Spring Fault, or listen to a lecture by members of the Institute of Spa and Balneology entitled Water as Medicine: Karlovy Vary springs and their therapeutic potential. In addition, you will have the opportunity to climb the observation tower of the Imperial Hotel or experience the city with a guide as a tourist. The main centre of the action will be the Castle Tower, where you can enjoy a wafer with your own flavour or make your own piece of original porcelain in addition to coffee.
The event will conclude on Monday with the 2nd annual conference "Modern Technologies in Spa", which aims to present the latest trends in the field of spa and balneology, such as digitalization, AI, telemedicine, modern health applications, virtual reality, European innovation trends. The organiser is the Institute of Spa and Balneology.
