Dear health lovers and fans of Karlovy Vary's mineral springs, we cordially invite you to the opening ceremony of the drinking cure within the framework of the Karlovy Vary Info Centre's initiative called #PijuPrameny, which will take place on 3 March from 17:00 at the Mill Colonnade in Karlovy Vary.
As part of this event, our institute has prepared a research study that monitors changes in laboratory values and liver elasticity tests in participants of a three-week drinking cure. The results of the first stage of the study suggest that drinking treatment with Carlsbad springs has the potential to generate a positive effect on hepatic steatosis. It is important to emphasize that liver steatosis can lead to more serious conditions such as steatohepatitis, cirrhosis, and even liver cancer. Therefore, an approach to the prevention and treatment of this condition is crucial.
Our common goal with the Karlovy Vary Information Centre is to provide the public with access to all available information about Karlovy Vary mineral springs and their beneficial effects.
