Spa and the future of public health: participation in the European Spa and Balneology Congress 2025

In the second week of April, we welcomed a delegation from the Institut du Thermalisme - Université de Bordeaux to the Institute of Spa and Balneology. On 18.6.2024 we organized a professional seminar "What's new in addiction treatment?" in cooperation with PMI Science. The program was packed and informative. We would like to thank all the speakers for their valuable contributions.

Today, in cooperation with the Falkensteiner Spa Resort Mariánské Lázně, we have launched a study to objectify the effects of forest therapy (shinrin-yoku) in a climate spa. The aim of the study is to evaluate the short-term effect of this treatment on the psychological and physiological state of the population of Mariánské Lázně.
