At the Innovation 2025 conference, which was held on 30 May by the Karlovy Vary Business Development Agency in Sokolov, we presented a paper on "How VR (re)changes the spa industry".

Speaking on behalf of ILaB was Mgr. Magdaléna Vereskova, MSc., who presented the project Centre for Spa Research (CLV) and the possibilities of using virtual reality in physiotherapy and rehabilitation. The presentation also focused on the proposal of comprehensive spa care for post-oncology patients using VR technologies.

The contribution aroused interest from the professional and educational community and created space for the establishment of possible collaborations.

The conference was complemented by workshops focused on the practical use of VR and creative tools with artificial intelligence. The event confirmed that modern technology has its place in the spa industry - as a means for efficient, attractive and sustainable care.

We hope that more representatives from the spa industry will participate in similar conferences next year.
