International representation of the socioeconomic component of the CLV project

We met with colleagues from Uzbekistan. The aim of our meeting was mainly to exchange experiences and share our knowledge. Colleagues from Uzbekistan are planning to reopen a research institution focused on spa and balneology, inspired by our Institute. We are pleased that we can contribute to the development of spa and balneology in other countries!

This year we have decided to extend the successful campaign of the Karlovy Vary Infocentre with a research study focused on the effects of traditional Karlovy Vary drinking therapy. The General Assembly of the European Historic Thermal Towns Association (EHTTA) was held in the Portuguese spa town of Caldas da Rainha, and we attended as we do every year.
