On 18.6.2024 we organized a professional seminar "What's new in addiction treatment?" in cooperation with PMI Science.
The programme was packed and informative. We thank all the speakers for their valuable contributions:
- MUDr. Jana Unar Vinklerová from the Institute of Pharmacology, MU Brno for her lecture on the epidemiology of tobacco addiction.
- MUDr. Jozef Čupka from the general practitioner's office in Prague for sharing his experience of treating tobacco addiction in his office.
-MUDr. Karel Moravec from the Psychiatric Clinic in Karlovy Vary for his lecture on the bio-psycho-social etiology of addiction and its manifestations and treatment.
The discussion, chaired by Prim. MUDr. Ladislav Špišák CSc. was very stimulating and provided space for exchange of experiences and opinions.
The seminar was accredited in accordance with PRC Statutory Regulation No. 16.
We hope that all participants enjoyed the event and took away a lot of useful information.
We are looking forward to the next meeting!
