In cooperation with the Secondary School of Ceramics and Glass, we successfully organized the first high school conference on the topic "Natural medicinal resources and their potential"!
The conference, designed for students in applied chemistry, offered a unique opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the region's natural medicinal resources and to present their projects on chemical topics.
The programme was opened by Ing. Alina Huseynli, MBA, followed by lectures by RNDr. Tomáš Vylita, Ph.D. and prim. MUDr. Ladislav Špišák, CSc. Afterwards, presentations of students' works were made, which were of exceptionally high quality.
The expert jury, composed of Ing. et Mgr. Jana Bourová, Ing. Hana Zagyi and RNDr. Patricie Hloušková, Ph.D., selected and awarded the best student presentation. The winner, Klára Kompitová, received a small gift from us and also the opportunity to work with the Institute within the strategic project Spa Research Centre!
This student conference is a clear proof that young people have something to say and that their perspective on natural healing resources and the spa industry can bring new and valuable perspectives.
