On 9 December 2024 we participated in a meeting in the Chamber of Deputies on the topic "The mission of physical medicine or movement to health". The meeting was organized by the Vice-Chairman of the Health Committee Tom Philipp, MD, Ph.D., MBA, and the Chair of the Subcommittee on Specialization and Professional Education, Science and Research Mgr. Michaela Šebelová.

The programme included presentations focused on the importance of exercise for health, followed by a discussion that also addressed the topic of spa. Among the presenters was our colleague Prof. Martin Matoulek, M.D., Ph.D.

The meeting confirmed that the importance of exercise for health is important to further develop. Therefore, in our Spa Research Centre project we are also exploring outdoor physical activity in the spa therapeutic landscape. Thus, this project can also contribute to improving spa care and bring concrete benefits to patients.
