We participated in the first Annual Conference of the Operational Programme Just Transformation entitled "Simply TRANSFORM!", which took place at the Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. The aim of the conference was to evaluate the progress in the transformation of coal regions after two years since the launch of the programme and to share experiences between experts from public administration, the European Commission and representatives of coal regions from the Czech Republic and abroad.

The conference featured a number of stimulating discussions with the participation of representatives of the European Commission, the Ministry of the Environment, the Ministry of Regional Development and other institutions. The programme included a presentation of our project , the Centre for Spa Research (CLV), whose importance was highlighted by the Deputy Governor of the Karlovy Vary Region , Martin Hurajčík. He mentioned not only its contribution to the transformation of the Karlovy Vary Region, but also its importance in the European context.

The conference was followed by a meeting of strategic projects of the Karlovy Vary Region, which took place in Mariánské Lázně with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of the Environment, the State Environmental Fund, the European Commission and the European Parliament. Specific steps and cooperation for the successful transformation of the region were discussed.

We will continue to contribute to the development of the Karlovy Vary Region through professional research and innovation in the spa industry. We thank all partners for their support and cooperation.
