In the second week of April, we welcomed a delegation from the Institut du Thermalisme - Université de Bordeaux to the Institute of Spa and Balneology. This French institute has been operating since 2000 and through a personal meeting we discovered how close our research topics and approaches are. On 18.6.2024 we organized a professional seminar "What's new in addiction treatment?" in cooperation with PMI Science. The program was packed and informative. We would like to thank all the speakers for their valuable contributions.

Last weekend we attended the XXX Congress of the Society of Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine, which took place in the Elektra Cultural and Congress Center in Luhačovice. The program included a professional session focused on balneology, in which our colleague Mgr. Marek Maráček spoke with a contribution on monitoring physical activity in a spa environment.
