On March 18, 2025, we inaugurated the teaching of the new subject "Physiotherapy in Spa" in Karlovy Vary. Together with the Mayor Ing. Andrea Pfeffer Ferklová, MBA, Director Ing. Alina Huseynli, MBA, RNDr. Patricia Hlouškova, Ph.D., and MUDr. Ladislav Špišák, CSc., we have thus opened another chapter in the education of future spa care professionals.

This course is intended for students of the Bachelor's and Master's degree in Physiotherapy at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague. Its aim is to combine the latest scientific knowledge with practical experience from the spa environment, so that students gain comprehensive knowledge and skills necessary for their future professional career.

For our institute, this is a significant step in expanding educational programs focused on the spa industry. We have been working for a long time to create a separate field of study that would focus on this area systematically, and the launch of the new course is an important step towards this goal.

The spa industry has a future - and we are actively creating it!
