On April 21, our researcher, Daniel Bečvář, M.A., attended the Social Innovation Forum conference in Prague. The main goal of the event was to discuss support for social innovation.

During the program, he and his colleagues presented the topic of regulatory sandboxes, an area in which ILaB specializes. Regulatory sandboxes provide a safe environment for testing new services and procedures in practice, which opens up interesting opportunities for further development in the Czech spa industry, among other sectors.

Furthermore, the findings from this area are summarized in a published research article, of which our colleague Bečvář is the lead author:

Bečvář, Daniel & Pavelka, Jan. (2026). Different Pathways of Regulatory Sandboxes in Europe: A Literature Review with a Special Focus on the Czech Republic. Lex localis – Journal of Local Self-Government. 245–260. 10.52152/89mm9g16.
