We participated in the 5th annual conference of the Platform for Just Transition in Brussels.
The conference summarized the achievements of the Just Transition Operational Program to date, presented inspiring projects and cross-country collaborations, and addressed key issues of sustainability and future financing options.
We are also very pleased that the Czech Republic was recognized at the conference as a "Leader in the implementation of the Just Transition Fund (JTF)" for its active support of coal regions in their transformation.
This is a clear signal that efforts to achieve sustainable development in regions such as ours are also recognized at the highest European level.
As the only public research institution in the region, we are proud to contribute our knowledge and research to shaping the future of the Karlovy Vary Region.
