Our director, Ing. Alina Huseynli, MBA, accepted an invitation from the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan to attend an international conference focused on spa therapy, balneology, and healthcare, which took place in Tashkent.

As part of the professional program, the strategic project Spa Research Center and selected research activities were presented. The presentation focused on linking traditional spa care with research and on the role of spas in prevention, rehabilitation, and public health.

The conference provided a space for expert discussion on current trends in spa medicine and also highlighted the dynamic development of this field in a number of post-Soviet countries, which in recent years have been investing significantly in research and building scientific capacity in the field of balneology.

The event was attended by experts from Italy, Switzerland, Turkey, Poland, Hungary, Georgia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and other countries. The conference was organized at a high professional level and contributed to strengthening international exchange of experience and establishing new professional contacts.

ILaB's participation in the conference represents another step in the development of international cooperation in the field of spa medicine, balneological research, and professional education, and contributes to strengthening the position of Czech spa medicine in an international context.
