We met with colleagues from Uzbekistan. The aim of our meeting was mainly to exchange experiences and share our knowledge. Colleagues from Uzbekistan are planning to reopen a research institution focused on spa and balneology, inspired by our Institute. We are pleased that we can contribute to the development of spa and balneology in other countries!

Our team enthusiastically participated in the first "reVIZE" conference organized by the Karlovy Vary Region. This year we have decided to extend the successful campaign of the Karlovy Vary Infocentre with a research study focused on the effects of traditional Karlovy Vary drinking therapy. The treatment programme under review lasts 3 weeks and is based on a drinking cure using warm Karlovy Vary springs, which are prescribed by a balneologist during an initial examination based on an assessment of the volunteer's health condition.
