This edition continues the tradition of diversity and depth of content, reflecting a wide range of topics in the field of spa and balneology. The first part of this issue is devoted to expert texts focusing on the objectification of spa treatment of children with bronchial asthma in the spa Lázně Kynžvart, a comprehensive overview of the occurrence of mineral waters in the Czech Republic and the technical and cultural and historical significance of the Peat Pavilion as an integral part of the Imperial Spa in Karlovy Vary.
From this 3rd issue onwards, the readers will be gradually provided with information about the focus, treatment practice, innovative procedures, complementary programmes, etc. in individual spas in the Czech Republic.
The first presentation is dedicated to the Libverda Spa. In the traditional section "On health trips around the world" is presented the paper "Noboribetsu, Hokkaido, Japan".
The discussion papers in this issue are dedicated to the spa of the future and balneopsychotherapy as one of the new directions in spa care.
