On Friday 9th May we attended the Heritage Forum in Mariánské Lázně, which took place on the occasion of the General Assembly of the Great Spa Towns of Europe network. The theme of the event was the protection of cultural and natural heritage in the context of spa towns - with an emphasis on the use of modern technologies and interdisciplinary cooperation.

Our director Ing. Alina Huseynli, MBA spoke in a panel discussion dedicated to tools for monitoring the state of cultural heritage together with representatives of the National Heritage Institute and the Czech University of Agriculture. They discussed the possibilities of using VR/AR technologies, sensory systems, participatory platforms and other tools that can support the protection of the values of spa sites. We also placed great emphasis on education, open dialogue and public participation.

We thank the organisers for an inspiring programme and the opportunity to be part of an important debate on the future of Europe's spa heritage.
