We took part in the Day of the Karlovy Vary Region and the City of Karlovy Vary at the IFF

On July 10, we participated in the Day of the Karlovy Vary Region and the City of Karlovy Vary, which took place within the International Film Festival. We offered visitors of all ages fun and informative activities introducing science and research in the field of spa and balneology.

The main message of our stand was: Science and research in the Karlovy Vary Region is not science fiction.

Adults and children alike could try out spa bingo, match personalities and famous places to descriptions or build their own microscope from puzzles. For the little ones, we prepared a themed colouring book with a peat bog motif.

We were also delighted by the visit of representatives from the Operational Programme Just Transformation, who had their information stand at the event.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by - we are pleased to have been able to bring our work to the general public. Research in the field of spa and balneology is important not only for the development of the Karlovy Vary Region, but also for everyday health care.
