VARY° Kolegium 2026 Conference

The new VARY°Kolegium platform aims to connect an expert perspective on spa medicine with current questions about the city's form and its future development. The discussion panels will be conducted with an emphasis on diversity of approaches – medical, tourism-related, economic, urban planning, hydrogeological and student perspectives. All thematic blocks will take the form of presentations followed by panel discussions. You can look forward to inspiring presentations, panel discussions and opportunities for questions, opinions and encounters across disciplines and generations.

Colleagues from Hotel Thermal, the Karlovy Vary City Information Centre, the organization Živý kraj, the CzechTourism agency, KAM KV, the Spa Hotel Imperial, Grandhotel Pupp, the Imperial Spa (Císařské lázně) and the Institute of Spa and Balneology, among others, will offer their perspectives on spa medicine and the future of Karlovy Vary.

As a special guest, the prominent influencer Kovy – Karel Kovář – will attend and present his original perspective on Spa Medicine in the Age of Social Media.
