Discover UNESCO World Heritage

The "Discover UNESCO World Heritage" event will take place from Friday, April 12 to Monday, April 15 as part of the celebrations of the International Day for Monuments and Sites. This global event celebrates the richness of cultural heritage and offers the public a unique opportunity to discover the beauty and history of Karlovy Vary.

As part of the event, you can experience the exhibition Famous Visitors of Karlovy Vary, dramatized city tours by the Viktor Braunreiter Street Theatre, a fashion show by talented students of the Secondary School of Applied Arts called Spa Kaleidoscope, taste a (non-)traditional spa menu, and enjoy many other interesting activities.

Join us for 𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗰 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 in the spa's therapeutic landscape, a tour of the roof of the Mill Colonnade and the spring fault, or listen to a lecture by members of the Institute of Spa and Balneology entitled Water as Medicine: The Springs of Karlovy Vary and Their Therapeutic Potential. In addition, you will have the opportunity to climb the observation tower of the Hotel Imperial or experience the city with a guide like a tourist. The main hub of activities will be the Castle Tower, where, besides coffee, you can enjoy a wafer with your own choice of flavor or create your own piece of original porcelain.

The event will conclude on Monday with the 2nd edition of the conference "Modern Technologies in Spa Medicine", which aims to present the latest trends in the field of spa medicine and balneology, such as digitalization, AI, telemedicine, modern health applications, virtual reality, and European innovation trends. The event is organized by the Institute of Spa and Balneology.
