Sustainable Tourism and Biodiversity Enhancement

Since July of this year, in cooperation with the Water Research Institute (Výzkumný ústav vodohospodářský), we have been implementing the project "Connecting the Protection of Unique Mineral-Water-Dependent Ecosystems with Sustainable Tourism in the Karlovy Vary Region", supported by the Ministry of the Environment under the Sustainable Tourism and Biodiversity Enhancement programme.

As part of the project, we took part in the opening conference "Sustainable Tourism and Biodiversity Enhancement".

We are very pleased to be part of this professional discussion, to share experience with other project implementers, and to jointly explore ways of effectively combining the protection of unique natural ecosystems with the sustainable development of tourism.

We believe that linking scientific research, nature conservation and responsible tourism is an essential prerequisite for the long-term preservation of the natural wealth of the Karlovy Vary Region.
