EHTTA General Assembly in Portugal

The General Assembly of the European Historic Thermal Towns Association (EHTTA) took place in the Portuguese spa town of Caldas da Rainha, in which we traditionally took part.
The programme also included an in-person meeting of the scientific committee, of which our director, Ing. Alina Huseynli, MBA, is a member. The discussion focused primarily on the future of European spa medicine, an evidence-based approach, the unification of terminology in the field of balneology, and new possibilities for international cooperation.
EHTTA has long connected the historic spa towns of Europe and supports the development not only of the spa sector but also of cultural heritage.
We would like to thank everyone for this inspiring meeting and the opportunity to take part in the European professional discussion on the future of spa medicine.
