Workshop presented the possibilities of virtual reality in rehabilitation

On 30 September 2025, we held a workshop at our premises focused on the use of virtual and augmented reality in lower limb rehabilitation. The event was aimed primarily at professional healthcare staff from spa facilities, whose experience and input significantly contributed to the further development of the applications.

The workshop was held as part of the project Validation of a system for lower limb tracking in virtual and augmented reality and its commercial use in healthcare, which we are carrying out in cooperation with the XR Institute. The project is funded by the Operational Programme Technology and Applications for Competitiveness (OPTAK).

In the next phase of the project, we will test the developed technology directly in the operation of spa facilities. This opens up opportunities for their active involvement in the development and validation of VR-based rehabilitation tools.
