On April 6, 2025 we joined the program of the public event For the Springs of Aš, which took place within the Healthy Festival in Aš. Our colleague, hydrogeologist RNDr. Tomáš Vylita, Ph.D., presented the natural riches of Ašsko and the wider region of the Karlovy Vary Region.
The event was divided into two parts - in the morning there was a guided walk through the local mineral springs, followed by a lecture for the public. Tomáš Vylita focused on the geological and hydrogeological aspects of mineral waters in Western Bohemia.
The second part of the lecture block was completed by historian Mgr. Lubomír Zeman, who presented the history and present of the therapeutic spa landscape of Ašsko.
The end of the event belonged to the tasting of five different mineral springs from the Karlovy Vary Region, which aroused great interest and smiley reactions among the participants.
We are glad that we could be part of this meaningful event for the public and contribute to the spread of knowledge about the natural healing resources of our region.
