Guided Walk Through the Town of Františkovy Lázně: In the Footsteps of a Healing Tradition

24 August 2025 · 13:00 – 14:30Františkovy Lázně

How does Františkovy Lázně heal body and soul in the era of modern medicine? What healing power lies behind the closed doors of the spa houses, and how is it connected to the town's architecture and greenery?

We invite you to a guided walk through Františkovy Lázně, led by Magdaléna Vereskova, guarantor for medical/health sciences and a physiotherapist with experience in the local spa treatment operations. The route will present the town's architecture, natural healing resources, and the specifics of treatment—not only of female infertility, which is closely associated with this place.

Participants will learn:

  • How Františkovy Lázně became a spa town and to whom it owes this.

  • How the local natural healing resources are used.

  • Which indications are treated here.

  • How the statue of Francis became a symbol of the town.

Date: 24. 8. 2025

Time: 15:00–16:30

Meeting point: The equestrian statue, Monument to Emperor Francis I
