This year, for the first time, Science Night will take place on a larger scale in the Karlovy Vary Region as well. This exceptional pan-European event opens the world of science to the general public every year. The preparations in Karlovy Vary have been joined by the Institute of Spa and Balneology, the Karlovy Vary Museum, Charles University, and the Regional Innovation Centre of the Karlovy Vary Region – together inviting all young and adult discoverers to an evening full of knowledge, fun and inspiration.

During the evening, you can look forward to a guided walk, a panel discussion, lectures, displays of natural samples, interactive activities for children, and an all-evening game with a prize draw.

All-evening game

Visit three locations in the centre of Karlovy Vary


  • Alžbětiny Lázně: 5:00 p.m. – 9:45 p.m.

  • Castle Tower: 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

  • Karlovy Vary Museum: 5:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

At each stop, tasks await you, and completing them earns you a stamp. Three stamps can then be exchanged for a raffle ticket at the Karlovy Vary Museum. The game is intended for children and adults alike and runs throughout the evening programme.
