Second internal workshop on the socioeconomic component of the CLV project

On Tuesday, June 17, the second internal workshop focused on the socioeconomic component of the Spa Research Centre project took place at the premises of the Institute of Spa and Balneology in Karlovy Vary. The meeting was held both in person and online, and was intended primarily for the experts from ILaB and the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen involved in the project.
The program was opened by the director of ILaB. The introductory part was devoted to information on the current progress of the project, planned activities, and opportunities for the professional community to get involved, for example through KAFE & VĚDA presentations for the general public or through publication outputs.
The morning session offered open presentations on the results achieved so far and plans within the socioeconomic part of the research. Contributions were presented on the thematic focus of the research, selected outputs, and student work. The afternoon session focused on a more detailed discussion of progress in the other research topics, data handling, planning of further activities, and the involvement of an expert group from academia.
The workshop provided a valuable exchange of information and strengthened cooperation among the partners involved in researching the socioeconomic aspects of the spa sector in the Karlovy Vary Region.
