Spa Medicine and the Future of Public Healthcare: Participation in the European Spa and Balneology Congress 2025

Our director, Ing. Alina Huseynli, MBA, took part in the European Spa and Balneology Congress 2025, held this year in Haapsalu, Estonia. In her opening presentation for the panel discussion entitled Europe’s Hidden Healthcare Power: Why Spas Belong in the Future of Public Health she presented the current challenges facing public healthcare in Europe and highlighted the opportunities that spa medicine offers.
She emphasized that spa medicine can play an important role in shaping the future of healthcare — particularly through scientifically validated methods, an emphasis on preventing lifestyle-related diseases, and a sustainable approach to treatment and regeneration.
We are glad to have contributed a Czech perspective to the European debate on the future of public health and to have helped promote the perception of spa medicine as part of a modern healthcare system.
