On research and trends in the spa sector: an interview on the Františkovy Lázně podcast

Our director, Ing. Alina Huseynli, MBA, was a guest on the Františkovy Lázně podcast. In the interview, she presented the Spa Research Centre project and also outlined other projects and activities we are preparing and carrying out.

She spoke, for example, about the preparation of studies on climatotherapy trails, about research focused on the population of Karlovy Vary and the effects of drinking cures on the liver, and also about the results of a study examining the impact of comprehensive spa care on the mental health of adult clients in Konstantinovy Lázně.

The interview also touched on prevention – particularly the importance of incorporating outdoor cures into spa stays – and on the role of data, which underpins modern research. There was also discussion of the advantages of the Czech spa sector, which lie in the combination of natural healing resources, tradition and current investment in research.

In conclusion, the director shared her perspective on global trends in the spa sector, which show where the field is heading and what new directions it is taking.
