We have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Faculty of Education of the University of West Bohemia and AHR ČR

We have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Association of Hotels and Restaurants of the Czech Republic and the Faculty of Education of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. The memorandum represents an important step towards the systematic integration of higher education, research and practice in the fields of spa medicine, medical wellness and healthcare.

The main objectives of the cooperation are:

• supporting and developing the study programmes of the Faculty of Education of the University of West Bohemia, particularly in the fields of kinanthropology and wellness,
• providing specialised instruction, specialised seminars and workshops,
• enabling students to complete professional internships at hotel and spa facilities in the Karlovy Vary Region,
• connecting the academic environment, research and practice so that graduates acquire the competencies required by modern spa care.

We have long been dedicated to the development of spa education based on scientific knowledge and close cooperation with practice. Starting next year, we will participate in teaching three specialised courses within the study programme Kinanthropology and Wellness Specialist. The instruction will also involve active use of ILaB's new demonstration laboratory, which will allow students to become familiar with modern balneology, diagnostic methods and current trends in spa care directly in practice.

The signed memorandum confirms the shared ambition of all three institutions to systematically develop high-quality training of professionals capable of responding to the challenges of present and future spa medicine and healthcare.
