RNDr. Tomáš Vylita, Ph.D., was a guest on Czech Radio Karlovy Vary

Our research fellow and Vice-Chair of the Institute Council, hydrogeologist RNDr. Tomáš Vylita, Ph.D., was a guest on the programme Odpolední host (Afternoon Guest) on Czech Radio Karlovy Vary on 24 March. He spoke about mineral springs and the protection of water resources.

In the interview, he explained the uniqueness of West Bohemian mineral waters, their geological origin and current state. Among other things, he mentioned the Slavkovský les area, where approximately 329 active springs are currently recorded. He emphasised that caring for these resources is a commitment not only for experts, but for society as a whole.
