We are pleased to announce that we have published the third issue of our journal "Lázeňství a balneologie, Spa and Balneology" - http://i-lab.cz/odborny-casopis/

This issue continues the tradition of diversity and depth of content, reflecting a wide range of topics in the field of spa medicine and balneology. The first part of this issue is devoted to specialist texts focused on the objectivization of spa treatment for children with asthma bronchiale at the therapeutic spa Lázně Kynžvart, a comprehensive overview of the occurrence of mineral waters in the Czech Republic, and the technical as well as cultural and historical significance of the Peat Pavilion as an integral part of the Imperial Spa in Karlovy Vary.

Starting with this 3rd issue, readers will gradually be provided with information about the focus, treatment practices, innovative procedures, supplementary programs, etc., at individual spas in the Czech Republic.

The first presentation is thus devoted to the Libverda spa. In the already traditional section "On Health Journeys Around the World", a contribution entitled "Noboribetsu, Hokkaido, Japan" is presented.

The discussion contributions in this issue are devoted to the future of spa medicine and to balneopsychotherapy as one of the new directions in spa care.
