We took part in Karlovy Vary Region and City Day at the IFF

On July 10, we took part in Karlovy Vary Region and City Day, held as part of the International Film Festival. We offered visitors of all ages fun and educational activities showcasing science and research in the field of spa medicine and balneology.

The main message of our stand was: Science and research in the Karlovy Vary Region is no science fiction.

Both adults and children could try spa bingo, match personalities and well-known places to their descriptions, or assemble their own microscope from puzzle pieces. For the youngest visitors, we prepared themed coloring pages featuring a peat bog motif.

We were also pleased by the visit of representatives from the Just Transition Operational Programme, who had their own information stand at the event.

We would like to thank everyone who stopped by – we are delighted to have had the opportunity to bring our work closer to the general public. Research in the field of spa medicine and balneology is important not only for the development of the Karlovy Vary Region, but also for everyday health care.
