We participated in the 5th Annual Conference of the Platform for Just Transition directly in Brussels.

The conference summarized the achievements to date of the Just Transition Operational Programme, presented inspiring projects and cross-country collaborations, and addressed key issues of sustainability and future funding opportunities.

We are also delighted that the Czech Republic was recognized at the conference as a "Leader in the Implementation of the Just Transition Fund (JTF)" for its active support of coal regions in their transition.

This is a clear signal that efforts toward the sustainable development of regions like ours are being recognized at the highest European level.

As the only public research institution in the region, we are proud to contribute our knowledge and research to shaping the future of the Karlovy Vary Region.
