Health Tourism: Opportunities for Growth Conference in Azerbaijan

From 29 October to 1 November 2024, the Health Tourism: Opportunities for Growth, conference was held in the Azerbaijani city of Shusha. We presented the importance of science and innovation for the development of health tourism and took part in a panel discussion. This experience provided us with valuable new perspectives beyond the European context.

As part of our previous cooperation, in 2022–2023 we assessed the Istisu natural mineral resource from a hydrological, hydrogeological and therapeutic perspective. This week we visited the modern ISTISU mineral water plant, equipped with state-of-the-art technology from the German company Krones. Its annual capacity exceeds 100 million bottles of natural quality water.
