Spa medicine on scientific foundations: we have signed a memorandum of cooperation with AHR ČR

We have signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Association of Hotels and Restaurants of the Czech Republic (AHR ČR). Together, we aim to support professional development in the fields of spa medicine, medical wellness and health tourism, and to strengthen the connection between research and its practical application.

The memorandum was established as part of our project Centre for Spa Research (CLV), which we are carrying out with support from the Operational Programme Just Transition. The cooperation includes education for AHR ČR member organizations, sharing research findings, developing methodologies and preparing joint projects. An important part of this collaboration is also the implementation of research results into the everyday practice of spa and accommodation facilities.

The signing of the memorandum was also attended by the Mayor of Karlovy Vary and Councillor of the Karlovy Vary Region for spa medicine, tourism and UNESCO affairs, Ing. Andrea Pfeffer Ferklová, MBA.
