Spas of the future? ILaB showcased the potential of VR at the Innovation 2025 conference

At the Innovation 2025 conference, organized on May 30 by the Karlovy Vary Business Development Agency in Sokolov, we presented a paper on the topic "How VR Will (Trans)form Spa Medicine".

ILaB was represented by Mgr. Magdaléna Vereskova, MSc., who presented the Spa Research Centre (CLV) project and the possibilities of using virtual reality in physiotherapy and rehabilitation. The presentation also focused on a proposal for comprehensive spa care for post-oncology patients using VR technologies.

The paper attracted interest from both professionals and the educational community and created an opportunity for potential future collaboration.

The conference also featured workshops focused on the practical use of VR and creative tools powered by artificial intelligence. The event confirmed that modern technologies also have a place in the spa sector – as a means of providing efficient, attractive, and sustainable care.

We hope that next year more representatives from the spa sector will take part in similar conferences.
